In December of 2015 I led an initiative to donate 2000+ books to five K-12 school libraries in Sri Lanka. By donating books to schools in Sri Lanka, my goal was to enrich the educational opportunities available to Sri Lankan students by increasing their access to English books. The books donated represented an extraordinary collection of fiction and non-fiction books that included math and science textbooks, fiction for middle and high school students and books for young children.
This project was enabled by the generosity of institutions and individuals mentioned in our donors page. The "K-12 Books To Sri Lanka" initiative was a stunning success and I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has taken an interest in its genesis, planning and execution. With your support, I look forward to enriching the educational opportunities available to Sri Lankan students even further in the future.
